How To Add TikToks, Reels & YouTube Videos to Your AI Chat Context

ChatGPT is cool.

But it won't let you add some very unique things there, like Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or YouTube Shorts/long-form.

Dropping these into the AI chat context makes it extremely powerful.

Let's dive in and see how to do it!

Setup the Brain

There's this cool app called Second Brain, that allows you to drop these social media posts (and way more, LinkedIn / X included too) - into chat context!

Isn't that so powerful? You can:

  • Summarize the content
  • Apply knowledge from videos to your problem
  • Make AI write similar scripts

And so much more.

Open the Visual Board

Although Second Brain has a ChatGPT-like chat interface too, it really shines on the visual board.

It allows you to have multiple chat nodes, context, and Notion-like pages - all on an infinite AI canvas.

So, let's do it! Find a YouTube/Insta/TikTok/LinkedIn video, click the icon at the bottom, paste, submit.

Pro tip: you can even paste it directly to the board, the system will detect it and auto-load it.

Add the chat node

In the bottom right, click on the chat icon, and the chat will appear. Simply connect chat to the video - now, the chat will use the video as its context!

You can connect as many things as you want. Anything that's connected to the chat will be used as chat context.

Ask a question

It can be whatever you want:

  • "Summarize the video"
  • "Give me 3 similar content ideas"
  • "Apply the knowledge from the video to [MY_PROBLEM]"

It's very powerful, because Second Brain doesn't only see the transcript, but the full video visuals!

Save the response

By clicking the Page icon below the response, you can save it to a Notion-like page.

It's fully editable, and you can add it to the chat context too - very powerful!

For who is this useful?

Although adding social media posts to chat context can be useful for anyone, it's especially useful for those making content.

You'll never run out of ideas again:

  • Drop a few of your videos, and get similar ideas
  • Drop a viral video, your video, and tell Second Brain to make you a video in your style with these viral elements
  • Drop a viral video from other niche, and tell Second Brain to make it in this same viral style, but about your topic

And so on. It's very powerful to see a random viral video, and ask AI how to make it for your niche!

But besides just content creators and marketers, this can be useful for pretty much anyone consuming content.

Because you often see a video online and you don't feel like watching it - too long. Or it's just too complex.

Well, drop it to Second Brain. Summarize it. Interact with it. Save the responses, and build on top of them.

Build your interconnected, AI knowledge base, that grows with you.

Pulling insights, stronger than ever.
